PG Mac Ltd, based in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, UK, was founded in 2008 by Paul Procter, with its core business focused on the buying, selling and refurbishment of quality pre-owned machine tools, including grinding machines, lathes, boring machines, milling machines and many other types of industrial machinery.

With over 40 years of experience in the machine tool industry, Paul has built an outstanding reputation for integrity, quality and exceptional customer service within the pre-owned machine tool market. His success has been founded on hard work, trusted relationships, quality workmanship and an infectious passion for engineering. Throughout his career, Paul has worked in more than 50 countries across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, India, the Far East and Oceania, providing specialist machine tool expertise to customers around the world.

As a proud family-run business, PG Mac continues to grow while staying true to its core values of honesty, quality and technical excellence.

In April 2025, the company celebrated another proud milestone as Paul’s son, Charlie Procter, graduated as a qualified Machine Tool Fitter after successfully completing his apprenticeship. Having grown up around the business, Charlie has developed into a highly skilled engineer and has already played a key role in refurbishing machine tools that are now operating across the globe.

Charlie has travelled extensively installing, servicing, relocating and commissioning machinery for customers both in the UK and overseas, gaining invaluable experience and building strong relationships along the way. With many more exciting opportunities ahead, he represents the next generation of PG Mac and the continued future of the business.
